Twenty-five successful years.

And that’s quite an achievement! Let’s take a look back with pride at the company’s accomplishments since it was founded in 1983.

In the early days, SSI supplied air conditioning systems for computer centres and control rooms.

In 1987, in order to keep up with technological demands, SSI expanded its line by developing the market for uninterruptible power supply systems and introducing Mitsubishi to Canada. This led to significant growth especially since SSI has always custom-designed products to meet clients’ specific needs. In fact, SSI soon made its mark by developing custom power panels meeting the criteria and needs of engineers and managers in computer centres.

The company has produced many original installations and has always endeavoured to maintain finely-honed and developed instrumentation quality, matched with power testing equipment, internal battery conductivity measurements, and thermography.

SSI has also recruited a service team available 24 hours a day to meet clients’ needs. Our qualified technicians provide activation, training and our 24/7 emergency service. The company has also installed a three-phase test workshop at its head office in Ville Saint-Laurent.

As examples of SSI’s sensitivity to its clients’ needs, requests for static switches, modular power supply centres, and distribution cabinets, among others, have been met by the company, thanks to Upware and Cyberex.

Our clients have required 50-Hertz and 400-Hertz solutions. Here again, SSI acted promptly and now supplies products adapted specifically to requirements in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.

In the last 25 years, SSI has developed a broad range of products and services that enable companies to consolidate their electrical infrastructures and make them safe. Our business solutions are well suited to today’s equipment specifications and are ecologically prepared to meet future needs.

Our success has involved our entire staff who share my commitment and who are an integral part of our achievements.
